Goliath was insulted when he saw the much smaller David. Then he was overconfident. I wonder what he thought when he saw the sling. Here’s the thing, his sword may have been bigger, but the projectile off a sling moved along fast and furious. Add the most important factor, God’s presence in the situation and in effect Goliath brought a knife to a gunfight.
